ok I can't look at that picture for this very reason.... WHY DID THEY NOT PUT THE PRACES IN THE MIDDLE OF THE TEETH! LOL Maury knows that would drive me NUTS! LOL Cool colors!!! Is he in pain? I am afraid that we are going to have to go down that path too.
Yes, Jackson got braces today. Gerald took him and it took about three hours for them to put them on. The first thing I noticed was how they weren't in the middle of the teeth and they weren't even lined up straight! SURELY there is a reason for that?! Because it sure would look better having them in the middle of the teeth. . .with the wire running straight across! But, as I as typing this... I was just thinking they probably have to put them closer to the top of the teeth to pull them into position easier. When I go with him to the orthodontist. . . I'll try to remember to ask if they are put like that for a reason... or if they just didn't pay attention! :) LOL For what it's costing us... they'd BETTER be paying very close attention! :)
He didn't hurt on Monday after he got them on but yesterday (Tuesday) his mouth was raw from where they were rubbing against his jaws and lips. He did use the wax they gave him - but he didn't want to put it on every tooth and said he was just going to have to get used to it. It's better today.
