I helped my friend and fellow photographer, Maury Draper, with a bridal shoot today.

Jessica made a beautiful bride. . . but she is 'underwraps' until her big day in May.

I'm not sure what kind of tree this is - but it's one of my favorites to see each spring. My niece, Samantha, calls them "popcorn trees" because they look like they are made of popcorn. . . so, of course, that is what I call them now, too.

The town square always looks so pretty in the spring when all the Popcorn Trees are in full bloom.

Meet Monster Max. He's Holden's imaginary friend. He lives in Holden's pocket.

During the 2002-03 school year, Fha, an exchange student from Thailand lived with us. She instantly became family and we enjoyed our year with her very much. It was sad for us when she had to leave to go back to Thailand - but thanks to the Internet we are able to stay in touch. Fha came back to the USA on March9 for a long visit. She will get to stay until almost the end of May. We are so glad she is here with us again!

These are some candy-type things that Fha brought for us to try. They are really cool. They have a gel type coating and are shaped like all kinds of different fruits and vegetables.

Tonight my youngest brother, Daniel, was ordained at First Baptist Church in Star City. He is currently the youth pastor at Farmington Baptist Church in Mississippi. Some of the people from his church drove about 5 1/2 hours to surprise him and come to this special night. Daniel was surprised when just as church started this whole group walked in.
